AutoPod

AutoPod is a collection of Adobe Premiere Pro plug-ins for video podcast and video show editors. It automates some of the drudgery of editing, including multi-camera video editing, social clips and jump cuts during quiet moments.

AutoPod includes a few useful abilities. The Multi-Camera Editor handles up to 10 cameras and 10 microphones, and it can automatically create sequences based on common camera arrangements, including solo shots, two shots, three shots, four shots and wide shots. The Social Clip Creator creates 1920x1080, 1080x1350 and 1080x1920 clips for social media, automatically adjusting sequence settings and video sizes based on the aspect ratio you select. The Jump Cut Editor automatically creates jump cuts based on silence, which is useful for social clips.

The idea is to free up time in the weekly cycle of Adobe Premiere Pro users. By automating some mundane chores, editors can concentrate on higher-level creative decisions. AutoPod is built by editors for editors, so it's designed to understand the needs of video podcast and show production.

AutoPod pricing begins with a 30-day free trial. The Individual plan costs $29 per month and includes all three plug-ins: Multi-Camera Editor, Social Clip Creator and Jump Cut Editor. There's also an annual billing option that gets you an extra month per year. Licenses are tied to a single computer, but you can move it around through the AutoPod website.

AutoPod requires Adobe Premiere Pro 2023 or later versions of Premiere 2022. It only works with Adobe Premiere Pro for now, and there's no schedule to bring it to other editing software. For details or support, you can check the AutoPod website.
