AFEELA is a mobility project from Sony Honda Mobility that aims to create a new, intelligent and emotional connection between mobility and society. By combining cutting-edge sensing technology and AI, AFEELA will further expand the possibilities of mobility, creating a more enjoyable driving and in-cabin experience.

AFEELA's prototype embodies several key elements:

  • Mobility Personal Agent: A conversational personal agent powered by Microsoft's Azure OpenAI Service to create a more engaging in-cabin experience.
  • Immersive Entertainment: Combining movies, music and games to create a mobile world of imagination.
  • Noise Cancelling: Combining the expertise of two companies to create a cabin that is optimized for entertainment and comfort.
  • Spatial Audio: Multiple speakers for a truly immersive sound experience.
  • Advanced Sensors and Cameras: 360° awareness for precise data and a more natural driving experience.
  • Evolving Accuracy of Assisted Driving: Combining image recognition AI with next-gen computing performance for more advanced Level 2/2+ driving assistance.
  • Software Updates: Stay connected and get the latest features and performance improvements.

The project is designed to focus on comfort and entertainment, allowing users to customize their cabin experience with themes, displays, sound effects, lighting and more. It also includes an open development environment for creators and developers to help shape the future of mobility.

AFEELA's design philosophy is about subtle elegance, with a clean, modern and inclusive look. The interior features a panoramic screen, a low-contrast color scheme and fine textures to create a calm and welcoming space.

The AFEELA Prototype 2024 is now available in Gran Turismo 7, where you can experience the car virtually before it hits the road. The project is still in development, but we look forward to sharing more exciting developments with those interested in the future of mobility.
