FreeTTS has a range of tools for text-to-speech conversion, speech transcription, vocal removal, voice enhancement, and audio editing. You can convert text to MP3, WAV, OGG and ACC audio formats online for free.

The text-to-speech engine uses natural voices, with 36 female and 29 male voices, and neutral voices. You can set the speech rate to your liking, from 0.25 to 2. Only English (United States) is supported for now.
