Cognition is an applied AI lab that builds end-to-end software agents. Its main product is Devin, the first fully autonomous AI software engineer that works alongside human engineers. It can plan and execute complex engineering tasks, remember context for each step, learn from experience and recover from mistakes.

Devin's results on the SWE-bench coding benchmark show its abilities, solving 13.86% of problems end-to-end, a dramatic improvement over earlier models.

The company's goal is to help engineering teams by automating mundane tasks so engineers can tackle more complex challenges.
