Browserless

Browserless provides a managed pool of browsers that can be used through Puppeteer or Playwright for tasks like scraping, automation, screenshots and PDF creation. Customers can access the browsers through APIs, letting them scale automation without worrying about the underlying infrastructure.

Among the features of Browserless are:

• Scalable Automation: Manage traffic spikes with load balancing and managed resources like RAM, CPU and GPU.
• Version Control: Pick specific browser versions without worrying about dependencies or package management.
• Anti-Bot Detection: Use residential proxies and the /unblock API to evade captchas and bot blockers.
• Session Persistence: Leave processes running with keepalive for a seamless handoff between tasks.
• JavaScript Rendering: Run scripts on single-page apps with headless browsers.
• Monitoring and Debugging: Monitor automation health, check metrics and use a built-in debugger to catch errors.

Browserless also supports hybrid automations, which let customers stream pages and run scripts in iframes for things like user logins and 2FA submissions. Customers can carry cookies from one session to another to evade bot detectors and create persistent caches.

Browserless pricing is tiered and flexible:

• Starter: $200 per month, 25 maximum concurrent browsers, 180k units per month.
• Scale: $500 per month, 50 maximum concurrent browsers, 500k units per month.
• Enterprise: Custom pricing based on units consumed, dedicated private cloud or self-hosted deployments.

Each unit is equivalent to about 30 seconds of browser usage or 6 units per megabyte of proxy traffic. Customers can upgrade or downgrade plans as needed. Support is by email for any questions or issues.
